(Baoquangngai.vn)- The 2024 - 2025 school year is the 9th year the "School Soymilk" Program has been organized, continuing the journey of bringing plant-based nutrition to disadvantaged students.
On the morning of October 15, the Vietnam Soymilk Education Promotion Fund, Vietnam Soymilk Company Vinasoy (Quang Ngai Sugar Joint Stock Company) coordinated with the Vietnam Red Cross Society to implement the "School Soymilk" Program, school year 2024 - 2025.
Attending the program were President of Vietnam Red Cross Society Bui Thi Hoa; Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan; and representatives of relevant departments, agencies and units.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the "School Soymilk" program continues to donate more than 755,000 boxes of Fami soymilk, worth nearly 3.44 billion VND, to primary school students in Quang Ngai, Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces. In Quang Ngai province alone, the program donated nearly 265,000 boxes of Fami soymilk, worth more than 1.2 billion VND, to 10 primary schools in Tra Bong and Son Tay districts.
Since 2016, the “School Soymilk” program has donated nearly 12.6 million boxes of Fami soymilk to more than 886,000 students in 1,580 schools in 19 remote areas. The total value of support is more than 45 billion VND. The program has demonstrated the long-term commitment of the Vietnam Soymilk Education Promotion Fund and Vinasoy Vietnam Soymilk Company to accompany poor students, helping them develop comprehensively in terms of physical and intellectual aspects.

With the message “Giving healthy nutrition, sowing the seeds of a green future”, this year’s program not only contributes to taking care of school health, but also inspires students in their awareness and responsibility for protecting the environment through small actions, such as sorting and recycling milk cartons.
At the ceremony, Vietnam Soy Milk Company Vinasoy presented 10 scholarships to poor and excellent students in Quang Ngai province; each scholarship is worth 2 million VND.

Speaking at the program, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan emphasized that "School Soy Milk" is a program of humane significance, demonstrating the consensus of all levels, sectors, units and enterprises in social security work, sharing the financial burden for families and communities in localities; helping children fully enjoy their rights. From there, contributing to creating a foundation for children to develop better in the future, making practical contributions to society.
