Accordingly, members of the Youth Union, the Women's Union, and the Veterans' Association of Cai Khe ward participated in cooking 200 servings of banh lot (a type of Vietnamese dessert). These groups then delivered the meals and milk to patients in difficult circumstances at Can Tho Cardiovascular Hospital and Can Tho Oncology Hospital, Branch 2.
The "Warm Kitchen" model was established in June 2024. To date, the participating units have organized 22 cooking sessions, providing over 4,400 meals with a total value of nearly 100 million VND. After the merger of Cai Khe and An Hoa wards to form the new Cai Khe ward, the "Warm Kitchen" model continues to be maintained, spreading its influence throughout the community.
