Expectations of Dong Nai enterprises at CAEXPO 2025

(DN) - The 22nd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO 2025) is taking place in Nanning City (Guangxi, China). This fair continues to witness the efforts of Vietnamese enterprises in selling goods and expanding market share in the billion-people market. Dong Nai also has many enterprises participating in the fair with high expectations.

Coming to CAEXPO 2025, Dong Nai has 3 enterprises setting up booths in the Vietnam booth area including: Son Lam Food Production and Trading Company Limited (Tran Bien Ward), Thuan Huong Production and Trading Company Limited (Thong Nhat Commune) and Nam Long Company Limited (Long Thanh Commune). These are all enterprises that produce and trade in products with strengths in Dong Nai.

As a well-known enterprise in the field of processed fruits, Thuan Huong Company now has an agent in Nanning. Considering CAEXPO as an opportunity to promote products and expand market share, in recent years, business representatives have directly come to the fair to promote products with agents, survey customer opinions to make adjustments suitable to the tastes of the Chinese market.

According to Ms. Liu Thi Yen, Deputy Director of Thuan Huong Trading and Production Company Limited, through customer surveys, the company will develop more products as well as change packaging designs accordingly. In addition, the company is also researching to expand online sales channels to suit modern consumer trends.

“Through CAEXPO 2025, with the support of Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade, we hope to expand our market to other cities in China, bring Vietnamese products to the billion-people market and affirm the value of Vietnamese fruit products,” said Ms. Yen.

Son Lam Food Trading and Production Co., Ltd. brought Vietnamese coffee products to the fair. Although it has an exclusive agent in China, the company still hopes to expand its market, especially by finding more partners.

Ms. Pham Thi Bich Ha, Director of Son Lam Food Trading and Production Company Limited, confidently said: “For the Chinese market, Vietnamese coffee is one of the products that people here really like. We are confident in mastering the formula to meet the requirements of Chinese customers who are becoming more and more demanding.”

Similarly, Nam Long Company Limited is also very confident with the natural rubber glove product it brings to CAEXPO 2025. Mr. Le Bach Long, General Director of the company said: The product is made entirely from Dong Nai natural rubber, so when it is brought to the fair, it is very popular with customers. In addition to hundreds of retail customers, the company has also found a number of partners who intend to become distributors in China.

Proactive adaptation

According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Nai, at CAEXPO 2025, Dong Nai is not only honored to represent 34 provinces and cities across the country to organize the Vietnam national pavilion, but businesses in the province also bring key products to introduce, sell, find partners, expand markets...

Mr. Vu Ngoc Long, Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Nai province, said: To prepare for the event, the department has connected and guided businesses to participate in the fair. In particular, this year's fair takes place in the context of the Protocol to upgrade the China - ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA) version 3.0, which is expected to be officially signed this year. Therefore, the Department of Industry and Trade will advise the Provincial People's Committee to have policies as well as guide businesses to take advantage of the opportunity to bring Dong Nai goods to this market.

In addition, to capture the market, the Department of Industry and Trade has also actively guided businesses to increase e-commerce and on-the-spot exports, so that Vietnamese goods can soon enter the very open markets of ASEAN and China. The Chinese government is very interested in the China-ASEAN trade agreement, considering it the trade agreement with the largest openness and space in the world . Domestic businesses need to quickly access new technology and new management so that products must meet standards and criteria, thereby being able to participate in the global supply chain.

At CAEXPO 2025, Vietnam's pavilion continues to have the largest area with about 4,000m2 , arranged with 200 booths of more than 120 enterprises. Vietnamese enterprises bring to the fair strong export products and items such as: agricultural products, processed foods, consumer goods, wooden furniture, handicrafts...

According to the Trade Promotion Agency ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), on average, at each fair, Vietnamese businesses have the opportunity to reach about 50,000 Chinese and ASEAN traders.
