From October 1 to 12, Hai Phong City will organize the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2025, with a series of large-scale cultural, artistic and spiritual activities.

This is the first festival held after the merger of Hai Duong with Hai Phong, associated with the commemoration of two famous people Tran Hung Dao and Nguyen Trai and the promotion of the Con Son - Kiep Bac complex, a world cultural heritage newly recognized by UNESCO.
The ceremony opened with the incense offering and worship ceremony at Kiep Bac Temple (October 1, the 10th day of the 8th lunar month).
The festival's focus takes place on October 7 (August 16 of the lunar calendar) with the 583rd death anniversary commemoration of Nguyen Trai, the 725th death anniversary of Tran Hung Dao; the autumn festival opening ceremony, the Tran Dynasty seal opening ceremony and the special art program Hai Phong - The quintessence of the heritage land.
During the 12 days, visitors will be immersed in the traditional festival atmosphere: procession, Tran Hung Dao death anniversary, lantern festival, fish release to restore aquatic resources, performances to serve the Saint, water puppetry and folk art recreating the heroic feats of the Tran Dynasty.
Notably, the cultural tourism and trade promotion week (October 4-12) brings a vibrant fair space with hundreds of booths displaying OCOP, agricultural products, handicrafts, traditional cuisine , and many experiential activities such as demonstrations of crafting and folk art exchanges.
Three new tourism products will also be introduced: One journey - 5 world heritage destinations, Following the footsteps of the Three Patriarchs of Truc Lam and Discovering the Con Son - Kiep Bac heritage. Along with that, a Famtrip and a tourism promotion conference will be held to promote the products, aiming at sustainable development.
