Quang Trung High School (Le Ich Moc Ward, Hai Phong City) has gone through 60 years of construction and growth (1965-2025). The school named after the hero Quang Trung has affirmed its position on the education map of the Port City with its long tradition and top quality education.

Principal Quach Tan Binh shared that the past six decades have been a journey of continuous efforts by generations of teachers and students. The school's educational quality is affirmed by the clear and decisive strategic vision of the school's leadership and the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the staff, teachers and employees. Facing the development requirements, the school has pioneered in management innovation, promoted digital transformation and aimed to build a school that meets national standards at level 2.

In 1965, Quang Trung High School was established during a difficult period for the country but soon became the pride of the studious land of Thuy Nguyen. Through the war, reconstruction and the renovation period, the school has always maintained the motto "Good teaching - Good learning", training tens of thousands of students to become adults, actively contributing to the cause of building the homeland and the country.

Entering the current stage, in the context of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training, the school identifies the key task as improving the quality of comprehensive education, promoting digital transformation, building a safe, friendly, modern, humane and internationally integrated learning environment.

To achieve that goal, the school identifies the leadership team as the core to guide innovation and digital transformation.

Mr. Binh said, clearly aware of the trend, the leaders of Quang Trung High School agreed on the strategic direction: "Taking digital transformation as the driving force, taking quality as the measure, taking people as the center."

On that basis, the school has implemented many synchronous solutions. Specifically, digitizing management and operation, applying software to manage records and evaluate teachers and students in a scientific and transparent manner.

Applying technology in teaching, developing online learning platforms, combining traditional classrooms and digital learning models.

At the same time, establish a Digital Transformation Team, organize digital skills training for all staff and teachers, and incorporate "digital education and network safety" into career guidance experience activities.

The school is gradually investing in and upgrading its information technology infrastructure, equipping it with interactive boards, televisions, and providing wifi coverage throughout the school, creating a foundation for building a "smart classroom" model and moving towards a "smart school" in the near future.

In addition, the school's leadership team pays special attention to changing awareness, encouraging teachers to be proactive and creative in teaching methods, innovating testing and assessment, and enhancing the education of students' self-study, self- discovery and creativity.

Mr. Binh said that this is a big goal that demonstrates the determination and aspiration to raise its position in the city's education system.

Review and re-plan the overall facilities, upgrade classrooms, department rooms, libraries, and campuses according to national standards.

Promote socialization and mobilize contributions from alumni, parents and local businesses to increase investment resources for education.

Train and develop staff, encourage teachers to participate in innovation competitions, improve professional capacity, and meet the requirements of the 2018 general education program.

Strengthen comprehensive educational activities, focusing on moral education, life skills, career orientation and building a school culture of "discipline - friendliness - creativity - efficiency."

On the morning of November 8, Quang Trung High School solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the school's founding. The event took place at a time when the whole industry was excitedly competing to achieve achievements to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day. This was an opportunity for teachers and students of the school to express gratitude to previous generations, while also arousing the pride and dedication of the present.
