Opening ceremony of the training and development program "Future Leaders of Petrovietnam 2025"

On the afternoon of November 8, at the Petroleum College (PV College) in Ba Ria ward (Ho Chi Minh City), the Vietnam National Energy Industry Group (Petrovietnam) held the opening ceremony of the training and development program "Future Leaders of Petrovietnam 2025".

Mr. Le Manh Hung, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of Petrovietnam Group said: The program "Future Leaders of Petrovietnam 2025" marks an important first step in the journey of developing a young leadership team, demonstrating the unit's strong commitment to standardizing, rejuvenating and professionalizing the leadership team in the era of energy transition and digital transformation.

The course gathered 60 excellent students, selected from nearly one hundred typical candidates from member units in the Group system. During 18 months of comprehensive training and development, students will participate in the program following the 10:20:70 model (10% formal training - 20% interactive learning - 70% practical work experience), equipped with modern leadership and management skills, innovative thinking and digital transformation.

Specifically, students will be equipped with a system of basic management skills and core knowledge of business administration to apply to practical work, improve team management efficiency and develop professional leadership thinking; update modern management trends, aiming towards multi-tasking management capacity, suitable for the context of digital transformation and global integration.

In addition, the program supports students to improve their English proficiency through a modern e-learning system and personalizes their learning and career development path with the accompaniment of coaches throughout the training and development process.

One of the most important parts of the program is practical training through work, with close connection between Petrovietnam, students and units.

Students will receive practical work experience training that accounts for up to 70% of the total program duration, through taking on challenging projects or tasks, participating in internships in management positions, or rotating through various management positions.

This training model not only helps students develop professional capacity and leadership skills in a real-life environment, but also enhances adaptability, strategic thinking and confidence in managing work.
