According to Ms. Le Thi Chung - Principal, in the 2024-2025 school year, the school will not only stabilize its scale but also make a strong change in the quality of education , infrastructure and spirit of innovation. The whole school has 36 classrooms, nearly 1,600 students and 86 staff, teachers and employees. At the end of the school year, Krong No High School continues to maintain the title of National Standard School Level II, quality accreditation Level III.

Located in a remote area with many socio- economic difficulties, the teaching staff of Krong No High School has shown courage, solidarity and dedication to the profession. "The school's teachers have a firm stance, stable lives, and many have accumulated valuable experience in teaching. That is what creates the driving force for the school to overcome challenges and maintain the trust of local people," the school's principal shared.
According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training of Dak Nong (old), in the past school year, the school achieved a rate of students with good conduct of 90.46%, good academic performance of over 74%, of which 32.47% were classified as excellent. Not only focusing on “mass quality”, the school also focuses on innovating teaching methods, applying information technology and STEM education. Also during the school year, the STEM Festival was held enthusiastically with 166 products, of which 133 products won prizes – demonstrating the creativity, research thinking and practical skills of students.
This was highly appreciated by Dr. Phan Thanh Hai - Deputy Director of Lam Dong Department of Education and Training, former Director of Dak Nong Department of Education and Training (old) for the spirit of effort of the collective of Krong No High School in being proactive, creative, and steadfast in implementing the 2018 General Education Program.

Comprehensive education, inspiring the desire to contribute
When implementing the 2018 General Education Program in all three grades 10, 11, and 12, the Principal of Krong No High School said that the unit is currently synchronous from the educational plan, teaching organization to testing and evaluation. "Each teacher builds their own plan, applies active teaching methods, organizes experiential lessons, scientific research, career orientation extracurricular activities and develops digital skills," Ms. Chung emphasized.
The highlight of the program is the regularly organized experiential and career guidance activities, typically the program "A day as a soldier" at Army Corps 994 (Dak Glong); career guidance days, admission consultation, and a series of cultural and sports activities associated with life skills education.

In addition, the school also coordinates with the Provincial Center for Disease Control to organize counseling on reproductive health, adolescent health, and build a safe, friendly, and gender-equal learning environment.
Physical education, arts and sports also made many impressions with the First Prize of the Provincial National Defense and Security Education Sports Festival, 3 Encouragement Prizes in the modern dance competition, and dozens of activities launched by the School Youth Union. Notably, the school has 750 excellent students admitted to the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, contributing to nurturing ideals and arousing the desire to contribute in the youth of Krong No.

Digital transformation and the aspiration for smart schools
Entering the innovation phase, the teaching staff of Krong No High School identified digital transformation as a key task. Therefore, 100% of teachers have used electronic lesson plans, participated in the digital learning materials system, managed students with electronic books and built an e-learning lecture repository.
The school is gradually implementing digital signatures, digital report cards, and online interactive classes; at the same time, developing a "smart school" model to serve active and flexible teaching and learning.

Along with that is promoting foreign language education, expanding the teaching of optional foreign languages, developing English clubs, creating a natural foreign language learning environment. The school is also a pioneer in local education, integrating content about Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark into History, Geography, and Civic Education lessons, helping students understand and be more proud of their homeland.
“We not only want students to study well, but also to mature, have the ability to self-study, love their homeland and be ready to integrate,” said a representative of the Parents Association.
However, the school also identified difficulties that need to be overcome such as many students in difficult circumstances, living far from school, and inconvenient transportation. There is a local shortage of teachers in some subjects. Modern teaching equipment is not yet synchronized, some have degraded... Therefore, in addition to waiting for investment from the Department of Education and Training, the teaching staff unites together, overcomes difficulties, is proactive, flexible and creative in organizing teaching and educational activities. The goal is to help students develop the best qualities and abilities, meeting the integration requirements in the new situation.
