Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc visits Nguyen Chi Thanh Secondary School in a border commune in Lam Dong.

On November 9, comrade Ho Duc Phoc, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister visited the staff, teachers and employees of Nguyen Chi Thanh Secondary School (Thuan An commune, Lam Dong province), on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc and leaders of the Central Government and Lam Dong province visited the school's staff and teachers.

Joining the delegation were representatives of several central ministries and branches. On the Lam Dong side, there were comrades: Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of several relevant departments, branches and units.

Nguyen Chi Thanh Secondary School has 27 classes, nearly 1,200 students and 56 staff members. According to the school's leadership report, after 25 years of construction and development, the school has gradually affirmed its position in the local education sector.

From 2016 to present, the school has been continuously awarded the title of “Excellent Labor Collective” by the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee. In particular, the school has been awarded the Emulation Flag of the Provincial People’s Committee 4 times and the Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister.

The Deputy Prime Minister asked teachers to continue to strive in their career of educating people, contributing to training a generation of citizens with knowledge, aspirations for contribution and national spirit. Teachers must not only teach knowledge but also impart manners, personality and ethics - important provisions for the future of students.
