On the morning of November 9, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a primary and secondary boarding school in the border communes of Ia Lop, Ia Rve and Buon Don commune in person and online.
At the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Ia Rve Primary and Secondary Boarding School in Ia Rve Commune, Dak Lak Province, there was comrade Mai Van Chinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister in attendance.
Also attending were comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee and comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, representatives of departments, branches, unions of the province and Ia Rve commune along with a large number of people and students in the area.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the primary and secondary boarding school in the border communes of Ia Lop, Ia Rve and Buon Don, Dak Lak province aims to concretize Resolution No. 298/NQ-CP dated September 26, 2025 of the Government promulgating the Government's Action Plan to implement Conclusion Notice No. 81-TB/TW dated July 18, 2025 of the Politburo on the policy of investing in building schools for border communes.
The three projects that were started this time are key projects in the School Construction Investment Program for border communes, invested by the Dak Lak Province Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board.

In particular, Ia Rve Primary and Secondary Boarding School, Ia Rve Commune, was upgraded and expanded its facilities from Nguyen Thi Dinh Secondary School, with a total investment of 126.7 billion VND. The school is expected to have a capacity of 1,125 students, including both boarding and semi-boarding students.
Buon Don Primary and Secondary Boarding School, Buon Don Commune will be newly built in Thong Nhat Village, with a total investment of more than 158.6 billion VND. The school is expected to have a capacity of 1,155 students, including both boarding and semi-boarding students.

Ia Lop Primary and Secondary Boarding School, Ia Lop Commune, has been upgraded and expanded the existing facilities of Nguyen Trai Primary School and Tran Hung Dao Secondary School, with a total investment of 105 billion VND. The school is expected to have a capacity of 980 students, including both boarding and semi-boarding students.
The projects are expected to create a breakthrough in developing educational infrastructure, improving people's knowledge, and contributing to strengthening national defense and security in the Central Highlands border area.

The simultaneous implementation of three projects is of great significance, demonstrating the special attention of the Party, State and Government to the cause of education in border areas and ethnic minority areas, contributing to creating a better learning environment for children on the frontline of the Fatherland.
The groundbreaking ceremony for border education projects is a meaningful political and social event, contributing to welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party and major holidays of the country and the province.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh presented gifts to 20 students and 10 families in difficult circumstances in Ia Rve commune and to schools in the commune.
