According to the locals, Mui Yen (Swallow Cape) was formed from rocks jutting out into the sea like swallows, but in the spring, many swallows choose these rocky caves as their habitat and nesting place, hence the name Mui Yen (Swallow Cape)...
At Mui Yen (Yen Cape), visitors can admire the reddish-brown rocky hills jutting out into the sea, covered in a lush green of shrubs and forest grasses. Between the two hills extending into the sea is a fine white sand beach curving like a bow, with a pebble beach of various colors resembling the small pebble beach in Binh Thanh. On clear days, with the golden sun shining brightly, Mui Yen looks like a watercolor painting, a vibrant tapestry of nature's colors. The rocky hills, about 30 meters above sea level, are surrounded by abundant vegetation, creating a wild and romantic landscape. During low tide, the fine white sand beaches interspersed with small, jagged rocks exposed to the sea are truly beautiful and captivating. The waves lapping against the rocks create a magical scene.

It can be said that Mui Yen – a beautiful, unspoiled scenic spot with high mountains, white sandy beaches, undulating small rocky shores, and colorful pebble beaches – has created a masterpiece of nature. It is hoped that in the not-too-distant future, the Mui Yen scenic spot, hidden behind the "desert" on the coast of Hoa Thang, will be awakened and become an attractive destination.
