Exciting Great Unity Day in Sung Nhon 2 village

On the morning of November 9, in the atmosphere of the 95th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025), the people of Sung Nhon 2 village, Nam Thanh commune, Lam Dong province organized the National Great Unity Day.

Attending the event were comrade Nguyen Van Quang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Party Inspection Committee; comrade Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court, comrade Tran Cao Thuy, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Nam Thanh commune and more than 400 villagers.

Sung Nhon 2 village is the economic and commercial center of Nam Thanh commune. Thanks to the direction and leadership of the Party Committee, the People's Committee, the Fatherland Front at all levels and the village Party Committee, the people are actively mobilized to participate in movements, feel secure in production and economic development. The number of well-off and rich households is increasing, the number of poor and near-poor households is significantly decreasing. Small production and business models are effective. Socio-economic targets, budget revenue, poverty reduction, education universalization, and military service are all achieved and exceeded the plan.

Over the past year, the village cooperated with the program "State and people work together" to cover 6.5km of roads, including 3km of hot asphalt roads and 3.5km of concrete village roads.

The cadres and people of Sung Nhon 2 village have a spirit of solidarity, mutual support and assistance. Many movements have been organized effectively, mobilizing hundreds of millions of VND to serve social security and care for people's lives. Meaningful activities include: giving Tet gifts to poor households, near-poor households, and social protection beneficiaries; supporting poor students to overcome difficulties; organizing Mid-Autumn Festival for children and people with disabilities; giving gifts to the elderly.

Speaking at the festival, comrade Nguyen Van Quang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Inspection Committee, expressed his joy at the atmosphere of solidarity, warmth and affection of the village. He highly appreciated the results the village achieved in the past year, especially the consensus and joint efforts in economic development, caring for people's lives, building culture, maintaining security and order and environmental landscape.
