In Dong Nai, the festive atmosphere seems to have come early this year. Just a few days after Halloween ended, a series of coffee shops quickly “changed their clothes”, putting on red, green, and bright yellow lights, filling the entire place with the breath of Christmas.

From central street corners to small alleys, it is easy to come across splendid cafes with pine trees, laurel wreaths, gift boxes, teddy bears or ribbons tied with bows and giant pearls.

“The Christmas atmosphere always makes me feel happier and more excited. Even though Christmas is still more than a month away, when I step into the brightly decorated cafes, I feel like the holiday season has really begun” - Nguyen Thi Anh Duong (Long Hung ward, Dong Nai province) shared while taking pictures with her friends.

Mr. Nguyen Nhat Duy, owner of Koi Fish Coffee (Bao Vinh ward, Dong Nai province) said: "This year, the shop started preparing from the beginning of September, construction lasted for 2 months to complete the space of more than 2,000m² with many different decorative areas, creating a unique Christmas atmosphere with the shop's own style."

“Our idea this year is to recreate a European-style Christmas atmosphere. In particular, every evening, the restaurant will have an artificial snow effect from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., bringing a more authentic experience to customers,” said Duy.

The excitement of young people, especially Gen Z, has contributed to making this year's Christmas season more exciting. Nguyen Thi My Anh (18 years old, Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province) expressed: "This year, the shops decorated Christmas very early, neatly and beautifully. Preparing so early makes me very happy because I have more time to enjoy the atmosphere and experience many different spaces, as well as take more beautiful photos."

Not only young people, many families are also eager to bring their children to the cafe to take pictures in the sparkling setting. The warm yellow lights, soft music and laughter make the Christmas atmosphere seem longer, closer and more intimate.

It can be seen that decorating Christmas early is now not only a race to beautify the space, but also shows the creative thinking and sensitivity to customer tastes of coffee shops. Christmas has not arrived yet, but Dong Nai is already bustling.
