The average export price of coffee reached 5,653 USD/ton - the highest level in many years. The reduction in global supply, increasing demand in Europe and the weak USD are factors contributing to the sharp increase in coffee prices.
Coffee export activities are forecast to continue to be positive at the end of the year thanks to entering the peak consumption period, however, reduced output and escalating logistics costs may put pressure on growth in the fourth quarter.
