In parallel with the main bridge in Yen Khuong, Thanh Hoa province organized 3 online bridges in Tam Lu, Tam Thanh and Na Meo communes. The ceremony at the locations was organized solemnly, economically, ensuring security and safety, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, spreading the spirit of determination to successfully implement the Politburo's policy.

The projects that started construction this time are boarding schools for primary and secondary levels, with synchronous investment in facilities, dormitories, dining halls, physical training areas and auxiliary items, ensuring learning and living conditions for ethnic minority students. In particular, Yen Khuong commune, bordering Laos and Nghe An, has a 1.7 km long border, a population of more than 5,500 people, of which over 98% are Thai ethnic people.
Currently, Yen Khuong has 2 general schools, including 29 classes with 764 students (of which 542 are boarding students, 222 are semi-boarding students). However, the facilities are still limited, scattered in many separate locations, not meeting the teaching and accommodation needs of students in remote areas.
Implementing the Politburo's policy on investing in completing the construction or renovation of 100 border schools by 2025, Thanh Hoa province is implementing the Yen Khuong Primary and Secondary Boarding School project on an area of 1.7 hectares, including: classrooms, subject buildings, library, dormitory, dining hall, multi-purpose house, teachers' public areas and a synchronous technical infrastructure system.

The completed project will meet the learning needs of more than 760 students, contributing to retaining students in the border area and promoting sustainable development of Yen Khuong commune. When completed, the school will meet the criteria of a national standard school, an important highlight in the development of education in the border area.
The groundbreaking ceremony of schools in Thanh Hoa border areas is not only an important milestone for the education sector, but also the beginning of a new development phase, where education becomes a bridge between economic and cultural development and maintaining national border security.
Symbol of faith on the frontier
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized: Education and training have always been identified by the Party and State as the top national policy, the foundation for comprehensive development of Vietnamese people in terms of morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetics.
People are the most valuable asset, both the goal and the driving force of development. Investing in education and the young generation is investing in the future of the country, the most sustainable way to build and protect the Fatherland.

The Prime Minister affirmed that, implementing Conclusion No. 81 of the Politburo, the Government agreed on the policy of investing in the construction of 248 inter-level boarding schools in land border communes, aiming to improve people's knowledge, train local human resources, create a source of ethnic minority cadres, and at the same time contribute to strengthening national defense and security, and developing the economy and society in border areas.
“New schools are not only places to sow knowledge, but also milestones in people's hearts, symbols of faith and aspirations of people of all ethnic groups,” the Prime Minister emphasized.

The head of the Government requested ministries, branches and localities to implement the project in the spirit of "Quang Trung campaign - fast, bold", working in three shifts, overcoming the sun and rain, ensuring progress, quality, safety, and avoiding loss and waste.
To effectively implement, the Prime Minister requested Party committees at all levels, authorities, construction units and relevant agencies to comply with five guarantees: “One is quality and progress; two is site clearance and material sources; three is technology, environmental sanitation, landscape, labor safety; four is no corruption, negativity, loss, waste; five is investment is effective”, in order to bring practical benefits to students, teachers, parents and contribute to promoting socio-economic development in the area.

The Prime Minister requested the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to continue calling on organizations, businesses, entrepreneurs, philanthropists and the whole society to join hands to support the construction and renovation of schools in border areas, in the spirit: those who have a lot contribute a lot, those who have little contribute a little, those who have merit contribute merit, those who have money contribute money - all for the sake of beloved students.
The Prime Minister expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the team of teachers working in mountainous, remote, border areas and ethnic minorities - the "silent warriors" who bring knowledge to the farthest places, sow seeds of faith and aspiration, persistently stay in the villages, spread knowledge, and protect the country.
At the ceremony, the Prime Minister respectfully expressed his gratitude to teachers working in border areas; at the same time, encouraged students to strive to study, practice, nurture their dreams, and contribute to building their homeland and country to become more and more developed.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented many meaningful gifts to students and schools of Yen Khuong commune.
