This practice has been maintained by the Department of Education and Training for many years now, in order to practice thrift, combat waste and formality, especially in the context that many places are focusing on overcoming the consequences of natural disasters caused by storms and floods.
In addition, the Department of Education and Training also requested high schools and affiliated units to proactively promote and organize activities to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, in a practical and effective manner, avoiding waste and formality. The Department encourages units not to organize welcoming ceremonies, receive guests and not to accept flowers and congratulatory gifts to save time and resources to focus on teaching and other educational activities in schools.
On this occasion, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai respectfully thank the attention and good feelings of agencies, departments, branches, organizations, units, individuals, and the whole society and continue to hope to receive more affection, companionship and support for the entire education sector of Dong Nai.
Discussing the response to the policy of practicing thrift and fighting waste in organizing activities to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day of the Department of Education and Training, the Board of Directors of many high schools in the province said that they will seriously implement this policy. To create a joyful and exciting atmosphere for the teaching staff, the schools will organize intimate meetings with teachers to review the fine traditions of Vietnamese teachers and promote the tradition of respecting teachers among students.
