Program "Skillful mass mobilization - Connecting the border" in Tinh Bien ward

On November 8, Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Tri Dong Ward (Ho Chi Minh City) Tran Xuan Dien led a delegation of the Party Building Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Tri Dong Ward to organize the program "Skilled Mass Mobilization - Connecting Borders" in Tinh Bien Ward. Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Tinh Bien Ward Trinh Van De received and worked with the delegation.

The working delegation gave gifts to poor households and households in difficult circumstances in Tinh Bien ward.

At the program, the delegation presented 100 gifts to poor households and households in difficult circumstances in the ward. Each gift was worth 450,000 VND, including: 10 kg of rice, 1 box of instant noodles, necessities and 200,000 VND in cash. The total value of the gifts was 45 million VND.

The delegation and local authorities visited and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of the Tinh Bien International Border Gate Border Guard Station. At the meeting, the leaders of the Tinh Bien International Border Gate Border Guard Station briefly informed about the security and order situation in the border area; the results of the task of protecting the border line and landmarks; the coordination with the authorities and units in ensuring border security, preventing and fighting crimes, etc.

On this occasion, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Luu (born in 1936), residing in Phu Hiep hamlet. Her husband and daughter were martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the resistance war against the US to save the country.

The delegation kindly inquired about her health and expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of the Mother and her family to the cause of national liberation and reunification. At the same time, they wished Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Luu a happy and healthy life with her family and grandchildren.
