UNESCO Travel Cup 2025 Football Tournament Opening

VHO - On November 6, the UNESCO Travel Cup 2025 Football Tournament organized by the Hanoi UNESCO Travel Club officially opened, with the participation of representatives of tourism management agencies, the Hanoi UNESCO Association, travel businesses and hundreds of fans coming to cheer.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trung Quan, Deputy Head of the Foreign Affairs and Promotion Department, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament affirmed that the UNESCO Travel Cup 2025 Football Tournament is a meaningful sports playground, where the spirit of solidarity, exchange and health training is spread in the tourism business community."

This year's season brings together 12 teams from travel companies and businesses operating in the tourism sector. Besides the teams that participated in the 2024 season, many new teams are participating for the first time, creating a rich and vibrant picture for this year's playground.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Permanent Vice President of the Hanoi UNESCO Travel Club, emphasized that the UNESCO Travel Cup is not only a sports tournament, but also a meaningful annual activity, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and cooperation in the Vietnamese tourism community."

Mr. Tuan Anh said that in the context of Vietnam's tourism industry strongly recovering after a difficult period, organizing bonding activities such as this football tournament has practical meaning.

Therefore, the message of this year's season is "Connecting for mutual development" which is considered an affirmation of the noble sports spirit, while also demonstrating the humanistic beauty and sustainable values ​​that the tourism industry is aiming for.

Established in 2024, the UNESCO Travel Cup Football Tournament, founded by the Hanoi UNESCO Travel Club, has become an annual activity connecting tourism businesses in the capital with localities across the country.
