Restoring electricity supply to Lung Sien, the 'epicenter of flooding'.

Due to the successive impacts of typhoons No. 10 and 11, Lung Sien village (Vinh Thong commune, Thai Nguyen province) was isolated and completely without electricity; restoration efforts are proving difficult.

The village of Lung Sien has had electricity restored after nearly a month of isolation and power outages due to the consecutive impact of two storms.

Thanks to the efforts of the power sector, on October 22nd, as soon as the floodwaters receded, the Bac Kan Regional Power Management Team ( Thai Nguyen Power Company) promptly inspected and replaced the transformer at Vu Muon 4 substation that was damaged by flooding, ensuring safe conditions for power restoration.

By 6 PM the same day, the unit had restored electricity to all 42 households in Lung Sien village, helping to gradually return the lives of the people to normal after weeks of isolation and power outages.
