Earlier, a number of social networking sites posted a clip recording the image of a woman pulling a rusty nail about 3cm long from an open wound on her left arm. Accompanied by rumors that there are dozens of nails protruding from this woman's arm.
Through verification by the authorities, the woman in the clip is NTP, a native of Mo Duc district. When the clip appeared on social networks, this person was in Tinh Tho commune (Son Tinh). Since the clip went viral, curious people came to watch it and there were many unfounded rumors. Understanding the information, Tinh Tho Commune People's Committee directed the commune police to the scene to find out the incident.

Chairman of Tinh Tho Commune People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Vy affirmed that the information spread on social networks in recent days is incorrect. There was no such thing as dozens of nails growing out of Ms. NTP's arm. The police force checked at Ms. P's place and found a plastic bag containing many rusty nails. Rumors can come from here, attributed to someone. The commune police have seized these nails.
"Apart from the nail pulled from the open wound on Ms. P's left arm as shown in the clip posted online, we have verified, no other nails have grown from Ms. P's arm," Vy shared. .
During the information verification process, on August 1, Tinh Tho Commune People's Committee supported all costs to take Ms. NTP for a health check at the Commune Health Station and the Son Tinh District Health Center. After conducting a health check, taking pictures and doing an ultrasound of the whole body for Ms. P, the doctors confirmed that there were no nails in Ms. P's body.
“The test results showed that there was no nail in Ms. P's body. The doctors and nurses disinfected the open wound in Ms. P's arm. After that, they consulted and encouraged her family to bring Ms. P back to her family", said Director of the Son Tinh District Medical Center Mai Huu Hau. said.
Also on August 1, Tinh Tho Commune People's Committee rented a car to bring this woman back to her hometown in Mo Duc district. “Ms. P has a neurological disease, often falls, so her body has many injuries. The nail that was removed from her arm may have been caused by a fall, the nail had pierced her hand. The local government has clearly explained the incident to Ms. P's family. At the same time, it has propagated to the people to avoid spreading false rumors," said Chairman of Tinh Tho Commune People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Vy.
