Never stop learning to go far

With his love for Physics and his constant efforts, Cap Kim Hoang Bao, a student of class 11A3, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, excellently won the Bronze Medal at the European Physics Olympiad (EuPhO) 2025 held in Bulgaria.

EuPhO 2025 is one of the world's most prestigious intellectual playgrounds for high school students. First held in 2017, EuPhO has so far undergone 9 competitions and has increasingly affirmed its prestigious position.

In 2025, the competition will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, with the participation of 40 teams from 28 European countries and 12 guest countries, including Vietnam.

This time, the Vietnamese team won the highest achievements ever including: 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, 1 bronze medal and 1 certificate of merit.

In Da Nang, Cap Kim Hoang Bao was selected for the national team and won a bronze medal.

To reach the bronze medal of EuPhO 2025, Bao overcame a long journey with much effort and determination. Loving Physics, Bao spent a lot of time studying, researching and won first prize in the national excellent student competition. This was the premise for Bao to enter the second round of the exam to select the team to compete in the International Olympics.

After being selected as a member of the team representing Vietnam to compete in EuPhO 2025, Bao spent 2 months practicing with other team members in Hanoi . “This is an extremely valuable time, I have been able to study in a serious academic environment, receive dedicated guidance from experts, and meet and exchange knowledge with excellent students across the country. Every day that passes is a day to learn new things, to improve my thinking, courage and expertise. Those efforts helped me win the precious bronze medal,” Hoang Bao shared.

According to Bao, the results achieved are not only personal achievements but also the care and guidance of teachers at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, who ignited the passion for Physics on his learning path.

As the person who directly taught and trained Hoang Bao, Mr. Phan The Hieu, Physics teacher at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, said that Bao is a very hard-working student, diligent in studying; has good ability, thinking, and self-study, so the teachers believe that Bao can conquer major exams in the future.
