With his passion for Physics and unwavering dedication, Cap Kim Hoang Bao, a student in class 11A3 at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, excellently won a Bronze Medal at the 2025 European Physics Olympiad (EuPhO) held in Bulgaria.

EuPhO 2025 is one of the world's most prestigious intellectual competitions for high school students. First held in 2017, EuPhO has now gone through 9 competitions and continues to solidify its reputation.

In 2025, the competition will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, with the participation of 40 teams from 28 European countries and 12 guest countries, including Vietnam.

In this competition, the Vietnamese team achieved its best results ever, including: 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, 1 bronze medal, and 1 honorable mention.

In Da Nang , Cap Kim Hoang Bao was selected for the national team and won a bronze medal.

To win the bronze medal at EuPhO 2025, Bao overcame a long journey filled with effort and determination. Passionate about physics, Bao dedicated much time to studying and researching, winning first prize at the national high school physics competition. This served as a foundation for Bao to advance to the second round of the selection process for the international physics Olympiad team.

After being selected as a member of the team representing Vietnam at the EuPhO 2025 competition, Bao spent two months training with other team members in Hanoi . “This was an incredibly valuable time. I studied in a rigorous academic environment, received dedicated guidance from experts, and had the opportunity to meet, interact, and exchange knowledge with outstanding students from across the country. Every day was a day of learning something new, improving my thinking, confidence, and expertise. These efforts helped me win this precious bronze medal,” Hoang Bao shared.

According to Bao, the results achieved are not only a personal accomplishment but also the result of the care, guidance, and support of the teachers at Le Quy Don Specialized High School, who ignited his passion for Physics throughout his academic journey.

According to Phan Thế Hiếu, a physics teacher at Lê Quý Đôn High School for the Gifted, who directly taught and mentored Hoàng Bảo, Bảo is a very diligent and hardworking student; he has good abilities, thinking skills, and self-learning skills, so the teachers believe that Bảo can conquer major exams in the future.
