(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The mixed-use complex of commercial, service, and cultural centers at 148 Giang Vo Street, Ba Dinh District ( Hanoi ) covers an area of over 6.8 hectares and has a maximum height of 40 floors.
The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 6490 on adjusting and supplementing the 2024 land use plan for Ba Dinh district.
According to the decision, Hanoi City has added one more project to the 2024 land use plan for Ba Dinh district: a mixed-use complex of commercial, service, and cultural centers in Giang Vo ward, covering an area of over 6.8 hectares.
In addition, Hanoi adjusted the allocation of land areas for 2024, specifically agricultural land at 1.6 hectares, accounting for 0.17%; non-agricultural land at over 916 hectares, accounting for 99.52%; and unused land at 2.8 hectares, accounting for 0.31%. There are no plans for land acquisition or conversion to other uses in 2024.
In addition, Hanoi City also adjusted the number of projects and the area in previous decisions of the City People's Committee to 57 projects, with an area of more than 31.8 hectares.

Previously, in July, Hanoi City issued a decision to adjust the planning, allowing the construction of a complex with a maximum height of 40 floors (a reduction of 10 floors) at the 148 Giang Vo project. This includes no longer residential units (in the 2016 decision, this project had a population of over 7,300 people with 10 apartment buildings, each 50 stories high).
The total land area remains unchanged at over 6.8 hectares. However, Hanoi City has adjusted the main indicators regarding residential functions and the land area allocated for commercial, service, and mixed-use buildings.
Instead, the area of land designated for commercial and service purposes was adjusted, increasing by nearly 2.1 hectares. Land for mixed-use buildings decreased by approximately 3 hectares, down to just under 1.3 hectares. Land for the multi-level school and green spaces saw only minor changes, with school land accounting for 0.88 hectares and landscaped green space for 0.56 hectares.
