With its rich natural landscapes and diverse culture, religion, beliefs, and the daily lives and work of its various ethnic groups, An Giang emerges as a land of vibrant colors and diverse voices. Drawing from this richness of life, musicians have used lyrics and melodies to weave together tunes brimming with love for their homeland, praising the land and people of An Giang with emotion and deeply moving sentiments.
The new musical works created during this period are imbued with deep affection for the homeland, vividly reflecting all aspects of life, activities, cultural beauty, and history, while also portraying the dynamic and creative new rhythm of life of the people and land of An Giang.
With a strong creative force, generations of musicians and artists in An Giang have diligently composed new melodies praising their homeland. In October 2025, the Provincial Federation of Literature and Arts Associations launched a collection of songs titled "An Giang - Songs of Pride." From the title itself, the collection evokes two main emotional themes: a deep love for An Giang and a yearning for greater achievements.
The show opens with the song "An Giang Sings a Song of Pride" by author Nhat Thu, with a cheerful and uplifting melody, expressing pride in the changes in the homeland: new constructions, attractive tourist areas, the burgeoning urban industrial life, and a renewed homeland with wide, spacious roads. Next is the song "An Giang in a New Era - A Brilliant Future" by author Nguyen Huynh, with a bright melody depicting a new picture of An Giang:
"The sunlight paints the green mountains."
The long river embraces the fertile land.
"The ripening rice fields are fragrant with scent."
The song expresses the strong aspiration of a land rich in tradition, brimming with faith in a bright future: "Great faith, far-reaching dreams. A bright future for our homeland."
Besides new songs, many traditional folk songs about An Giang also carry sweet and profound emotions. The folk song "An Giang: Love of the Land, Love of the People" by author Tran Kim Hang has simple, straightforward, and emotionally rich lyrics, leaving a deep impression on listeners, with the following ending:
"The bloodline of Lac Hong blends harmoniously with four ethnic groups."
Kinh, Hoa, Cham, and Khmer weave a love song.
Love for the people, love for the land of our homeland.
"Beautiful An Giang resounds with songs of pride."
Sharing her thoughts on the work, author Tran Kim Hang said: “Born and raised in An Giang, with its harmonious mountains and rivers, I have always carried a deep love and pride for my homeland. Through this traditional folk song, I hope to spread and promote the culture, image of the land and people of An Giang to more people.”

Having dedicated nearly 20 years to songwriting and performing, Meritorious Artist and musician Ho Thanh Danh – the author of many beloved songs about An Giang – continues to make his mark with his new song "An Giang: The Vitality of Spring." The song features a folk melody, a cheerful and lively tune, and relatable, emotionally rich lyrics, evoking a vibrant spring scene in his homeland.

Beyond depicting the scenery and people of An Giang, the song also reflects the province's new rhythm of life as spring arrives, expressing faith and hope for a joyful and happy new year.

Sharing his thoughts on the song, composer Ho Thanh Danh revealed: “This is a song I’ve cherished for a long time, composed to celebrate the New Year and the merger of An Giang province. I wrote it with sincere emotions, expressing my love for my homeland, and conveying my faith and hope for a new spring full of vitality.”
