The Board of Directors of Kienlong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (KienlongBank) held a ceremony to announce and present the appointment decision to Mr. Do Van Bac to assume the position of Deputy General Director effective September 22, 2023.
Mr. Bac joined KienlongBank in September 2021 and has held many important positions such as Deputy Director in charge of individual customers at the Head Office, Assistant to the Deputy General Director, Director of Corporate Customers at the Head Office, etc.

Thus, after the personnel addition, KienlongBank's current executive board consists of 8 members, with Mr. Tran Ngoc Minh holding the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director.
A representative from the bank stated that the personnel appointments aim to supplement resources, innovate, and strengthen the senior management team, with the expectation that they will help the bank enhance its governance and operational capabilities to achieve its strategic goal of becoming a modern and user-friendly digital bank in the future.
Also at the ceremony, the Bank's leadership presented appointment decisions to one Division Leader and two Regional Directors with the goal of strongly promoting business activities and customer experience when using products and services at KienlongBank.
Previously, the Board of Directors also approved the resignation of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong from the position of Deputy General Director in order to focus on specialized management duties.
Ms. Huong currently holds the position of Member of the Board of Directors of KienlongBank and concurrently serves as the Chairwoman of the Board of Members of the Debt Management and Asset Exploitation Company Limited (KBA), working with the Board of Directors to implement KienlongBank's strategic directions in the coming period.
Regarding business performance, KienlongBank's pre-tax profit for the first six months of 2023 reached VND 402 billion, achieving 58% of the full-year target. Consolidated after- tax profit reached VND 321.4 billion, a 15% increase compared to the first six months of 2022 .
