Means of transportation

If you choose to travel by bus, you can take routes to Son La from My Dinh or Yen Nghia bus stations, then get off in Moc Chau for about 200,000 VND.

Besides specialties like plums, tea, and milk, Moc Chau is also famous for many delicious local dishes. A highlight is stir-fried veal, with the main ingredient being veal from suckling pig. The dish is simply prepared: the meat is cut into bite-sized pieces, seasoned, and stir-fried in hot oil. The cooked veal is fragrant, tender, and sweet, with a golden color, and is served with a dipping sauce made of ginger-soy sauce, a characteristic condiment of the Northwest mountainous region.
