Miss Ky Duyen sparked controversy when she responded to a viewer's comment with a tense attitude.

On November 1st, Ky Duyen posted a video of a new makeup look created by a Miss Universe makeup artist. In the comments section, one user asked, "Why aren't you posting today's outfit, but only yesterday's photos?" Ky Duyen quickly replied, "Is it okay if I like it? I'm too lazy to answer your questions. I didn't even have time to sleep during the competition, and I only had time to send the photos to people to post for me. When another person continued to ask, "Was it Ky Duyen or the team who answered? That's a very normal question, like any beauty queen fan who follows the competition every year. Usually, contestants update in chronological order, so they're just curious."

Kỳ Duyên confirmed that she was the one who replied to the comment, adding: "You're probably a fan of beauty queens, not a fan of mine. Maybe you should try taking the exam yourself to see if what I said is true."

The majority of social media users disagree with the way Ky Duyen interacts with her audience. Many said that they initially supported her, but then changed their minds when Ky Duyen showed her attitude. Others said they wanted to follow Ky Duyen but found it difficult, so they decided to stop following her.
