Peaceful homes
In Ha Phong 3 neighborhood (Ha Tu ward), Mr. Ta Van Quy and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dien have been together for over 45 years. Throughout that time, their love remains as strong as ever. Their old age unfolds peacefully and simply: tending their garden together, participating in social activities, and going for walks and exercising together every morning.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dien shared that in married life, there are sometimes disagreements, but what's important is that each person knows how to compromise, listen, and understand the other. After retirement, she and her husband share household chores, take care of their children and grandchildren, and nurture their home. For her, the greatest joy is seeing their children and grandchildren grow up healthy and enjoy sports , following the family tradition. That is what makes their old age complete and fulfilling.
The family of Ms. Phung Thi Yen in Hong Ha 4 area (Ha Long ward) is also an example of sharing and equality. Although both husband and wife are busy with work, they always try to share responsibilities in the family. When she cooks, her husband spends time helping their children with their homework; in the evening, the whole family gathers to chat and share stories from the day. These seemingly ordinary moments are the bonds that connect family members, helping them understand and love each other more.
Not only spouses, but also children in the family are educated about caring for and respecting their grandparents and parents. Their kind inquiries and small but sincere actions contribute to preserving and nurturing family happiness.
For children, the family is the cradle that nurtures their souls and dreams. Growing up surrounded by the love and care of parents and grandparents, they will have a happy childhood, thus forming positive values in life.
Pham Thai Hien, a student at Le Hong Phong Secondary School (Ha Long Ward), shared that the happiest time for her is when her whole family is together. Meals, conversations, and moments of playing together all make her feel warm and loved. From this warm family environment, she dreams of studying hard so that she can make her grandparents and parents proud in the future.
A happy family is the foundation for building a happy society. In today's fast-paced and stressful modern life, maintaining the bond between family members becomes even more important. If each person knows how to dedicate time to one another, listen, respect, and share, the home will always be a peaceful place to return to.
Throughout the socio -economic development process, the Party Committee and government at all levels of the province have always attached great importance to family affairs. State management of family affairs and the prevention of domestic violence have been implemented quite comprehensively. Every year, localities organize activities to commemorate Vietnamese Family Day, the National Action Month on the Prevention of Domestic Violence, the Action Month on Gender Equality and the Prevention of Gender-Based Violence, and International Happiness Day; thereby helping to disseminate policies and guidelines on family affairs and the prevention of domestic violence, and promoting moral education and lifestyles that are supported by the people, contributing to building harmonious families.
Keeping the flame of happiness alive in modern families.
In modern society, the role of women in fostering family happiness is increasingly affirmed. Today's women not only manage household chores but also actively participate in labor and contribute to society. Despite being busy with work, they still strive to arrange their time wisely to care for their families, raise their children, and maintain a happy home.

Modern women understand that happiness is not the silent sacrifice of an individual, but is built on a foundation of sharing and balance. They learn to manage their time, take care of themselves, and maintain positive energy to both excel at work and cherish the warmth of their family life. With a peaceful home behind them, each step on their career journey becomes more secure.
Today's women don't choose between family and career; instead, they strive to balance both. Through love, responsibility, and ambition, they affirm their self-worth while preserving the warmth of their family life.
Drawing on traditional values preserved through generations, women in Quang Ninh today continue to make positive contributions to the development of their homeland. Every step forward for the province bears the mark of these ordinary yet resilient and ambitious women.
Happiness, therefore, is not something far-fetched. It is present in every moment of everyday life: a greeting, a handshake, a family meal, or simple moments of sharing. When each family learns to cherish and preserve these small things, happiness will multiply; contributing to building a civilized, compassionate, and sustainably developing society. From the simplest things in life, happiness is nurtured every day, quietly but firmly, simple but profoundly meaningful.
