Disciplinary action against leaders of Ca Mau Department of Health

Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Sa was disciplined with a "reprimand" because during his time as Deputy Director of the Department of Health, he had many shortcomings and violations in advising the Director of the Department to direct the procurement of supplies, chemicals, biological products, and medical equipment in 2020.

Mr. Tran Quang Khoa was disciplined with a "warning" due to violations and shortcomings in advising and directing the work of preventing and fighting the COVID-19 epidemic.

Both of these cases were disciplined by the Party Standing Committee of the Civil Affairs Party Committee in March 2023.

Regarding the violations that occurred at the Department of Health of Ca Mau, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Director of the Department of Health of Ca Mau province, was also disciplined by being "dismissed" due to violations and shortcomings in his role as head of the unit, allowing shortcomings and violations in the work of preventing and fighting the COVID-19 epidemic; lack of responsibility, lax leadership and management.

Previously, in July 2022, Ca Mau Provincial Police initiated a case, prosecuted and temporarily detained three officials of the provincial health sector for their negative involvement in the purchase of Viet A test kits.
