Mr. PHUNG NGOC LONG, M.Sc., Principal of Dong Nai College of Culture and Arts:
Contributing to meeting the demand for high-quality human resources.

Urban development will open up many opportunities for the arts and culture sector to receive commensurate investment. The school hopes for more investment and upgrades to its facilities and equipment, continued innovation in its training programs, and expansion to meet the growing demand for high-quality human resources in arts and culture. Simultaneously, it seeks mechanisms to attract talented teachers and artists, as well as strengthen links with art organizations to enhance practical application. The school hopes to develop new cultural institutions in the future, creating environments for students to practice, perform, and grow, contributing to building a modern and sustainable cultural identity for Dong Nai .
Photographer PHAM LINH NGOC, Head of Photography Committee, Dong Nai Literature and Arts Association:
We need to promote the image of Dong Nai's land and people more.

A modern city is not only measured by grand constructions or growth rate, but also by its cultural identity, creative spaces, and rich spiritual life of its people. I hope the province will build more spaces for exhibitions, creative work, and art promotion, especially in the field of photography; and at the same time create conditions for artists to develop their abilities and contribute to spreading the image of Dong Nai as a dynamic, compassionate, and culturally rich city. When Dong Nai becomes a centrally-governed city, culture and art need to be placed on par with economic development, becoming a sustainable foundation for long-term development.
Mr. NGUYEN DUY HUNG, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Province Import-Export Association, Director of Hung Thinh Phat Co., Ltd.:
Focus on developing the business community ecosystem.

The elevation of Dong Nai to a centrally-governed city is not merely a reflection of the scale of a typical administrative unit, but rather a strategic realization of a long-term vision to develop the full potential and opportunities of this strategically important region.
In the face of this historic moment, we are focused on three core elements to enable Dong Nai to transform and develop strongly: the quality of its human resources, a green living environment, and a quality of life that is prioritized and improved to match the scale of a major city.
Dong Nai needs to make drastic changes and improve its investment and business environment, prioritizing investment in education and the development of science and technology, and innovation. Attention should be paid to reforming the production and business environment for enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises. This will enable them to develop into large, leading enterprises and corporations, driving the increasingly robust development of the business community ecosystem.
Mr. BUI XUAN HUNG, General Director of Thanh Tung 2 One-Member Limited Liability Company:
Driving force for business development

Dong Nai's aspiration to become a centrally-governed city is a source of pride, but it also places very high demands on quality of life and environmental management. As it approaches the criteria for a special-class urban area, environmental regulations will undoubtedly be tightened in a more synchronized and modern manner. This presents both pressure and opportunities for development for businesses in the field of environmental treatment and waste recycling.
I believe in this transformation, but I also clearly recognize the challenges. To live up to its potential as a major city, every citizen needs to raise awareness and change their behavior in protecting the environment, starting with the smallest things.
Dong Nai is committed to achieving net zero emissions, which is an inevitable trend. As an environmental enterprise, we will continue to invest in advanced treatment technologies, promote recycling, and move towards a circular economy, contributing to emission reduction and efficient resource utilization. In my opinion, today's pressure is the driving force for businesses to innovate and work alongside the province in developing a green and sustainable economy, with the community's participation in building an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
Lieutenant Colonel TRINH ANH DUNG, Head of Trang Bom Commune Police:
Moving towards population management using digital data.
![]() |
Dong Nai is transforming itself into a centrally-governed city. Consequently, localities will gradually move towards urbanization. However, taking advantage of urbanization, various social evils and crimes will also find ways to operate, complicating the security and order situation. Therefore, maintaining security and order needs to focus on three main pillars:
Strengthen the police force's personnel and equipment. The focus should shift from manual patrols to digital data-driven population management, closely monitoring changes in household registration, especially in rental housing areas and new residential zones. Expand the coverage of smart security cameras. Upgrade the surveillance camera system on all major roads and alleyways.
Promote the nationwide movement for safeguarding national security. Maintain self-governing groups and crime prevention clubs in residential areas.
Mr. DO QUANG TUYEN, a retired official in Trang Dai ward:
Investing in, expanding, and developing transportation infrastructure.

I expect that when Dong Nai becomes a centrally-governed city, its urban transportation infrastructure will be invested in, expanded, and developed to a level commensurate with its potential. Currently, traffic congestion in the central area remains a frequent problem during peak hours. Furthermore, I hope that retirees who still possess good health, experience, and a spirit of contribution will be given opportunities to participate in the workforce and find suitable employment. This would not only help retirees improve their living standards but also utilize a valuable human resource for society.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, a resident of the Loc An - Binh Son resettlement area, Long Thanh commune:
Expectations for a resettlement area that lives up to urban standards.

With Dong Nai's development plan to become a centrally-governed city, I am very excited and hopeful for positive changes in the coming time. As a large-scale resettlement area located near the airport, I hope the government will continue to invest in infrastructure in a synchronized and modern manner, especially essential facilities such as markets and medical centers to meet the basic needs of the people. At the same time, there needs to be more solutions to create jobs and support livelihoods to help people stabilize their income and settle down.
