Expectations for North-South high-speed railway

In a country stretching from North to South with nearly 1,700 km like Vietnam, railways always play a key role not only in transporting passengers and goods but also in the lifeblood of the economy . For many years, the railway has undergone many innovations, but with old and outdated infrastructure, train speeds have not been improved. With the current train speed, it takes up to 34 hours to travel from Hanoi to Saigon. But if there is a high-speed railway, the time will be shortened to only 5 hours and 30 minutes. And many expectations have been placed on this North-South high-speed railway project.
