According to Lao Dong, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) recently issued a new interest rate schedule, currently listed as follows:
1 month term interest rate is 2%/year.
3-month term interest rate is 2.3%/year.
Interest rate for 6-9 month term is 3.3%/year.
Interest rate for 12-18 month term is 4.7%/year.
36-month term interest rate is 4.9%/year.
In addition, BIDV's counter savings interest rates are currently listed as follows:
Interest rate for 1-3 month term is 1.7%/year.
6-month term interest rate is 2%/year.
9-month term interest rate is 3%/year.
Interest rate for 12-36 month term is 4.7%/year.
In the Big4 banking group including BIDV, Vietcombank, VietinBank, Agribank , VietinBank is currently holding the most preferential interest rate compared to the remaining banks, followed by BIDV's interest rate.
Accordingly, BIDV's interest rate currently fluctuates between 2.0-4.9%/year (online), Vietcombank's interest rate currently fluctuates between 1.6-4.7%/year, Agribank's interest rate fluctuates between 1.7-4.8%/year, VietinBank's interest rate fluctuates between 2.0-5.0%/year (online).
