Lam Dong: People exchange trash for gifts

On September 27, the People's Committee of Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat (Lam Dong Province) organized a launching ceremony to collect pesticide packages and crop waste in the area.

Many farmers took advantage of the time before going to work to bring trash to the collection point to exchange for gifts.

At 29 locations in the area, Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat has collected a total of about 6 tons of garbage, which are all kinds of pesticide packaging. Many farmers took advantage of the time before going to work to bring garbage to the collection point to exchange for gifts such as gloves, protective boots, raincoats, hats... which are necessary items when gardening.

For every 2kg of pesticide packaging, people can exchange it for a pair of protective gloves. Larger quantities will be equivalent to valuable items such as protective masks, boots, raincoats, etc.

People bring trash to 29 locations in Xuan Truong ward - Da Lat to exchange for labor protection equipment.

Collected waste will be brought to the collection area and treated according to regulations for hazardous waste.
