(Online Labor) – On June 1 and 2, Lam Dong Provincial Agricultural Extension Center held a training course to disseminate standards and regulations in Vietnam's organic agricultural production; training on organic coffee production process for organic coffee farmers in Di Linh district.
During the training, Lam Dong Provincial Agricultural Extension Center informed the training course on issues such as: the situation of organic farming in Vietnam and the world; benefits of organic farming; some principles of organic agriculture; requirements for inputs of organic farming; orientation of organic agriculture development in Lam Dong province; how to manage land and water in organic agricultural production; general regulations on harvesting, preliminary processing, packaging, labeling, preservation and transportation of organic products; organic certification standards and policies…
After the training, the organic coffee farmers were equipped with more useful knowledge and experiences on organic coffee production methods. At the same time, contributing to changing people's thinking in coffee farming from traditional production to developing organic agricultural production. This is a sustainable direction for the development of the coffee industry in Lam Dong province in the coming time.
