Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) updates knowledge and skills according to world trends and job opportunities at international corporations, attracting thousands of students each year.
The project aims to provide technology training for young people, launching globally in 2019. This is one of Samsung's typical social responsibility programs, currently expanding to 32 countries and territories. Each year the program has innovations to attract the attention of young people and promote technological capabilities.
The quality of teaching improves every year
The courses are constantly updated, in line with world development trends such as: Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data or Big Data. Basic Programming skills (Coding & Programming). Besides knowledge, the team also focuses on improving and innovating training methods.
This year, the SIC 2024 course combines two online and offline formats, adding more options for students. Increasing training time also helps students understand more thoroughly and deeply the knowledge and skills from experts and lecturers.
SIC also organizes high-quality training courses for lecturers to improve professional capacity and support practical teaching abilities. The teacher training course is designed by leading experts from Samsung as well as major research facilities and universities nationwide.
This year's program is accompanied by Multicampus - an organization specializing in human resource development and training. Thereby, SIC provides high-quality learning content, supporting students with comprehensive access to information technology knowledge and soft skills to develop themselves in the digital era.
Expand learning opportunities for remote areas
The project targets pupils and students nationwide. Therefore, the development of SIC is associated with expanding the scale of training each year, with the expectation of promoting equality of opportunities for all students, especially groups in remote areas - which face many difficulties in accessing. with high quality technology education.
Doubling its scale in 2024, SIC aims to train 6.000 students, contributing to Vietnam's high-quality human resources. Implementing free online training in addition to traditional offline training helps the project reach more students in every province and region across the country. In addition, the unit is also ready to support students in remote areas to access knowledge and practice conditions.
"This ensures uniform training quality for students, regardless of economic or geographical conditions," said a Samsung representative.
Connection between knowledge and practical context
Also according to the Samsung representative, the common problems with the training program are: learning and practicing. This is solved by SIC by posing practical problems in a variety of occupations and fields throughout the training process. This form encourages students to come up with appropriate and highly applicable solutions.
Training content is also selected in conjunction with recruitment needs at large companies. This helps SIC students easily find many job positions after graduation. The project also offers many internship and work opportunities for excellent students. There are many typical cases who have interned at Samsung's Research and Development Center after graduating from SIC.
