Lam Dong establishes Land Development Fund.

The People's Committee of Lam Dong province has just approved a plan to establish a Land Development Fund to manage and develop land resources for socio-economic projects in the locality.

The Land Development Fund is a non-budgetary state financial fund whose function is to provide capital to support land clearance, create resettlement land funds, promote land use rights auctions, and implement land support policies for ethnic minorities.

Before the fund was established, capital was entrusted to the Lam Dong Provincial Development Investment Fund to manage and support 24 projects with a total disbursed capital of 431 billion VND. These projects contributed to ensuring project progress, stabilizing the lives of affected people, and promoting urbanization.

In the coming period, the Land Development Fund will continue to provide funding for many important projects such as the construction of Duc Trong Square, and the development of residential infrastructure in Di Linh, Don Duong, and Grung Re, with a need of approximately 190 billion VND.

The establishment of the Land Development Fund is not only in line with legal regulations but also meets the practical needs of the province, helping to optimize resources, ensure transparency in land management and use, and create favorable conditions for socio-economic development.
