To commemorate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace Historical Site is organizing a series of meaningful activities to express gratitude, remembrance, and further spread the great values ​​he left behind to all people in the country and international friends.

At the National Exhibition "President Ho Chi Minh - The Quintessence of the Nation, the Stature of the Era," the public can view many valuable images and documents collected and sourced from archives, museums, historical sites, libraries, news agencies, and newspapers both domestically and internationally.

Through the images and documents displayed, the exhibition has depicted the stature and legacy of President Ho Chi Minh in the history of the nation and the era, expressing boundless respect and gratitude for the leader who dedicated his entire life to the freedom and independence of the nation and the happiness of the people.

Also on this occasion, an exhibition of 135 documentary photos of President Ho Chi Minh at the Presidential Palace (1954-1969) was held. The exhibition displayed 135 exceptional documentary photos, meticulously collected and systematized by the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace Historical Site. These are authentic and vivid moments of President Ho Chi Minh's activities in the Presidential Palace area, where he lived and worked for the last 15 years (1954-1969), the longest stop in President Ho Chi Minh's 79 years of life.

These 135 photographs are not only valuable documents but also a bridge that evokes sacred and profound memories of him; they are beautiful and cherished recollections, reminding everyone of a simple yet great life, always devoted to his compatriots and country, forever shining brightly in the hearts of every Vietnamese person and international friends.

The Artifacts Room tells a story with its thematic exhibition "Uncle Ho with the South - The South with Uncle Ho," evoking many emotions in viewers. The exhibition is a particularly meaningful activity, authentically and movingly portraying the sacred and profound bond between President Ho Chi Minh and the people and soldiers of the South.

With 45 carefully selected original documents and artifacts from the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace Historical Site, the National Historical Museum, the family of General Vo Nguyen Giap, the Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum, and many other valuable sources, the exhibition allows viewers to relive the glorious historical years, the profound affection of President Ho Chi Minh for the South, and the unwavering loyalty and remembrance of the South to him.

Alongside the exhibitions, the book "135 Stories About Uncle Ho" was also launched on this occasion. The book compiles 135 authentic, simple yet profound stories, recorded from the memories of cadres, soldiers, and compatriots who lived, worked, and studied near President Ho Chi Minh during the period from 1954 to 1969.

Through each page of the book, the image of the beloved leader emerges both authentically and vividly: "He was a father, an uncle, a brother," with an extremely humble and simple lifestyle.

Each story and memory in this book not only authentically portrays the simple and noble life of Uncle Ho, but also contains invaluable lessons about revolutionary ethics, his lifestyle, and his great character.

The Ho Chi Minh Heritage Experience Program for students at the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace Historical Site is also a highly meaningful activity, aiming to educate about traditions, foster patriotism, and awaken feelings of respect and love for President Ho Chi Minh in the younger generation. The program features activities such as "Listening to Artifacts Tell Stories"; participating in exchanges, sharing feelings, and visiting the residences and workplaces of President Ho Chi Minh. Through this, the students gain a deeper understanding of President Ho Chi Minh's life, thoughts, and moral example.
