Without fanfare or ostentation, they choose to live a life of faith intertwined with daily life, contributing to the preservation of national cultural identity and making practical contributions to social welfare in their local area.

Dedicated to the community
Having been closely associated with Thu Thua Parish (Thu Thua commune, Tay Ninh province) in both religious life and local movements, Chairman of the Pastoral Council of Thu Thua Parish, Pham Van He, has always received the trust of parishioners and the people because of his sense of responsibility and dedication to his work.
One of Mr. He's most notable achievements is his persistent efforts to mobilize people to work together to upgrade and expand rural roads. A prime example is the Khai Canal road, where he personally appealed to residents to donate land for road construction and contributed approximately 90 million VND. As a result, the road was widened and improved, facilitating travel and daily life for people in the area.
Recently, due to the damage to the Cau Ba Bang road caused by heavy rain and prolonged flooding, Mr. He raised 18 million VND to promptly repair over 1.6km of the road surface, contributing to ensuring traffic safety for the people.
In parallel, Mr. He always prioritizes social welfare work. Every month, he regularly mobilizes resources and personally distributes gifts to disadvantaged households and elderly people living alone, especially during holidays, Tet (Lunar New Year), and Christmas. These gifts not only have material value but also provide spiritual encouragement, helping those less fortunate to alleviate some of the difficulties in their lives.

Mr. He expressed: “During my participation in pastoral work and local movements, I regularly encouraged parishioners to strictly adhere to the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations, actively contributing to the Funds for the Poor and the Fund for Gratitude and Repayment. At the same time, I urged people to install security cameras on rural roads to maintain security and order in the locality.” For him, living a religious life is inseparable from social life, but must be linked to civic responsibility and a spirit of community service.
Father Gabriel Nguyen Huu Ky, parish priest of Thu Thua, said: “Mr. Pham Van He is a respected figure, both in his family life and in his faith. In his community work, he is willing to sacrifice, live with love, care for, and look after the underprivileged, thereby creating a positive influence within the parish community.”
Heartfelt gifts
Besides focusing on developing her family's economy , Ms. Truong Thi Na (residing in Can Giuoc commune, Tay Ninh province) also dedicates much of her time to participating in parish activities and local charitable movements. Through her dedication and spirit of sharing, she has become a familiar source of support for many in difficult circumstances, contributing to spreading positive values and a virtuous life within the community.

Ms. Truong Thi Na neatly arranged the gifts, preparing to distribute them to people in difficult circumstances.
Every year, together with Can Giuoc Parish (Can Giuoc commune), Ms. Na participates in donating thousands of heartfelt gifts to disadvantaged people in the locality. For her, it's not just about giving material things, but also a way of sharing and encouraging those who are still facing many difficulties in life.
"Many people are still facing difficulties, so we try to help as much as we can, even if it's just small gifts," Ms. Na shared.
Not only is she active in charitable activities, Ms. Truong Thi Na also acts as a bridge, calling on people and mobilizing philanthropists to contribute funds to repair and upgrade dilapidated rural roads. Thanks to the community's consensus, the road has been paved with blue stone, making travel more convenient and safer for the people.

Father Anton Truong Chi Tam of Can Giuoc Parish said: “Ms. Truong Thi Na is one of the active members of the Parish Pastoral Council. She always accompanies the Parish in charitable activities, supporting the poor and the sick, contributing to helping them stabilize their lives. In addition, the Parish regularly promotes and encourages parishioners to strictly abide by the law and live virtuous lives.”
Through simple yet heartwarming actions, the spirit of living a virtuous and moral life is vividly demonstrated in the community life of the parishioners. This dedication, responsibility, and benevolent heart contribute to bridging the gap between religion and life, fostering unity among the people, and working together to build a more civilized and compassionate homeland.
