Effectively and creatively disseminate General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's book on the National Assembly.

On the afternoon of July 16th, at the National Assembly building, the Central Propaganda Department, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and the National Political Publishing House jointly organized the launch ceremony for the book "The National Assembly in the Process of Renovation to Meet the Requirements of Building and Perfecting the Socialist Rule of Law State of Vietnam" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Attending the book launch ceremony were Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, former member of the Politburo and former Chairwoman of the National Assembly; and other members of the Politburo: Le Minh Hung, Secretary of the Central Committee and Head of the Central Organization Department; Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Central Committee and Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Nguyen Hoa Binh , Secretary of the Central Committee and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; and Nguyen Xuan Thang, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy and Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council.

Speaking at the ceremony, Speaker of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man We commend the Standing Committee of the National Assembly and other agencies for their proactive, serious, and responsible approach in editing, publishing, and introducing General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's book at a very important time for the country: All levels, sectors, and localities are actively preparing to organize Party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party; and summarizing some theoretical and practical issues concerning the socialist-oriented reform process in Vietnam over the past 40 years.

The implementation of research and study of the book's content is not only to promote core values, but also to create a widespread political campaign, attracting and mobilizing the combined strength of the entire political system, and leveraging the intellect of experts, scientists, voters, and the people to participate in summarizing the theory and practice of the country's renovation, and building and perfecting the socialist rule of law state of Vietnam.

To widely disseminate the content of the book to a large number of officials, Party members, voters, and the people, the Chairman of the National Assembly requested the Central Propaganda Department to take the lead in coordinating with the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, the National Political Publishing House, and press agencies to focus on disseminating the book's content to a large number of officials, Party members, voters, and the people through various rich, creative, practical, and effective forms; to develop study materials, research, and thorough understanding, creating fundamental and comprehensive changes in awareness within the political system and the entire society regarding the position, role, goals, tasks, and solutions for building a socialist rule of law state and reforming the organization and operation of the National Assembly in the new period.

The Chairman of the National Assembly also requested the Party Caucus of the National Assembly to lead and direct the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, the National Assembly's agencies, the agencies under the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, the National Assembly delegations, National Assembly deputies, officials, civil servants, and employees in the National Assembly's support apparatus to conduct in-depth research on the guiding viewpoints of the Party and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in order to thoroughly understand and implement them in leadership, direction, management, and effective organization of the tasks and powers of the National Assembly and its agencies, as well as in advisory and service activities for the National Assembly, thereby contributing to further improving the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the National Assembly's operations.

Party committees and organizations should promptly organize for cadres and party members to thoroughly study and understand the content of the book; incorporate the study, understanding, and implementation of the Party's guiding principles and those of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong into the content of branch meetings; and help cadres, party members, voters, and the people nationwide to gain a deeper understanding of the Party's important thoughts, viewpoints, and orientations on continuing to build and perfect. The book "The National Assembly in the Process of Renovation to Meet the Requirements of Building and Perfecting the Socialist Rule of Law State of Vietnam" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was published by the Party Caucus of the National Assembly in coordination with the National Political Publishing House and related agencies.

This book compiles 95 articles, speeches, and interviews by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, reflecting his profound strategic thinking and vision on building and perfecting the socialist rule of law state of Vietnam, of the people, by the people, and for the people; it also reflects his close attention to reforming the organization and operation of the National Assembly to meet the requirements of the new situation.

The book is divided into three parts. Part One : Building and Perfecting the Socialist Rule of Law State of Vietnam, comprising 15 articles, speeches, and interviews by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam; building and perfecting the socialist rule of law state of Vietnam; the relationship between the Party's leadership, the State's management, and the people's ownership; reforming the organization and operation of some institutions within the rule of law state such as the Government, People's Courts, People's Procuracies, State Audit Office, and local governments…

Part two: The book "Reforming the Organization and Operation of the National Assembly" includes 80 articles, speeches, interviews, and letters by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on the reform and development of the Vietnamese National Assembly, especially during his time as Chairman of the National Assembly, directly overseeing the research and amendment of the 2013 Constitution – a crucial task for the development of our country in the recent period; on new developments in parliamentary diplomacy; and on reforming and improving the quality of the work of National Assembly deputies and the National Assembly's support apparatus.

Part three : The trust, support, consensus, and affection of officials, the people, and international friends towards Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, a selection of 57 representative opinions from officials, Party members, intellectuals, National Assembly delegates, voters nationwide, and international friends, expressing their perspectives, thoughts, and feelings regarding the leadership and guidance of Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong.

Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh introduced the purpose of publication and the value, significance, and content of the book.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh emphasized that the book "The National Assembly in the Process of Renovation, Meeting the Requirements of Building and Perfecting the Socialist Rule of Law State of Vietnam" is the culmination of the strategic thinking, vision, responsibility, and dedication of Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, with his profound love for the country and its people.

Each article and speech affirms Comrade's unwavering commitment to the cause of building and defending the Vietnamese Fatherland under the leadership of the Party.

This book summarizes the achievements in the theoretical development of socialism and the path to socialism; it supplements and develops the theory of the rule of law and the practical process of building a socialist rule of law state in Vietnam, of the people, by the people, and for the people.
