In daily life, each region has its own unique "rhythm": the sound of blacksmiths' hammers echoing in craft villages, the rhythmic weaving of silk on looms, the cries of street vendors in old towns, or the melodies of folk songs resounding during festivals.
With "Sounds from the Vietnamese Land," these sounds are not only recorded as cultural documentation but also become creative material for modern music . Artists participating in the program will directly experience local life, meet artisans, record indigenous sounds, and develop them into new musical works – where tradition and contemporaryity meet in a shared creative space.
Each 15-minute episode of "Sounds from the Land of Vietnam" is structured as a three-part journey: exploring the region, recording and creating music, and finally, performing the finished work. The combination of reality television, music, and cultural tourism provides viewers with a multi-dimensional experience: discovering the landscapes and people while simultaneously feeling the cultural story behind each sound. The final result of each episode is a music video that resonates with the scenery and rhythm of life in that region.

The first episode of the program, titled "Spring Melody of Da Trach," takes viewers to Da Trach Temple (Hung Yen) - a place associated with the legend of Chu Dong Tu and the cultural space of the Da Trach military drum dance. Accompanying the journey are actor/singer Quang Anh as MC, along with music producer Luu Quang Trung, rapper Dr Peem, and the Van Nghe Band.
The artists will meet local artisans, learn about the history of the military drum, directly construct "earthen drums," listen to simple folk songs, and experiment with creating music from folk rhythms. From the sounds recorded on location, the team will develop a mashup of "Khúc Xuân" (by composer Võ Thiện Thanh) and "Hoa cỏ mùa xuân" (by composer Bảo Chấn), incorporating a modern feel while retaining the spirit of the traditional military drum.

According to the production plan, the first season of the program will consist of 10 episodes, featuring many unique cultural destinations across the country such as the street vendors of Hanoi, Da Sy blacksmith village, Quan Ho folk singing in Diem village, Van Phuc silk village, Quang Binh caves, and the stone musical instruments of the Central Highlands.
Through each journey, the program aims to build a "sound map" of Vietnam, where nature, culture, and life blend into musical works imbued with the spirit of World Music, contributing to connecting tradition with the contemporary, while promoting the beauty of Vietnamese culture and people to domestic and international audiences.
