A livable rural village - a model cultural village.

One morning in early April, upon arriving at Quang Trung village (Hoang Hoa commune), we felt the strong transformation taking place there. From wide concrete roads and vibrant flower-lined paths to a comprehensively invested system of cultural and sports facilities...

Welcoming us at the community center, Mr. Le Van Phuong, head of Quang Trung village, said that the village currently has 325 households with 1,360 inhabitants. Implementing the "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life" movement, the villagers always strive together to build a livable rural area through meaningful and practical actions. Among these, the focus on building a healthy and rich cultural life within the community stands out.

To provide a place for recreation, entertainment, and meetings, the village's Front Committee went door-to-door to promote and encourage residents to contribute their labor and resources to renovate the community center, invest in equipment, and create a green, clean, and beautiful environment. Since the renovation, the spacious community center has become a popular destination for recreation, and cultural and sports activities have flourished.

In addition, the village actively promotes the emulation of building cultured, prosperous, progressive, happy, and civilized families through many meaningful movements such as: "Raising healthy children and teaching them well"; "Exemplary grandparents and parents, filial children and grandchildren"; and "Families dedicated to learning". The annual evaluation and recognition of the title of cultured family is implemented seriously, ensuring compliance with regulations, and the percentage of cultured families has increased year by year. According to statistics, the percentage of cultured families in the village has reached 98%. Exemplary cultured families have become shining examples in the community and have become positive and important factors in protecting and preserving the moral values, customs, and fine traditional culture of the locality.

Aiming to build Quang Trung village into a livable rural area, the village's Front Committee has actively disseminated information to residents through village meetings and public address systems. They have mobilized people to donate land, money, and labor to expand and pave rural roads, install streetlights, and focus on maintaining environmental hygiene. Simultaneously, they have encouraged residents to focus on developing production, actively transforming the structure of crops and livestock to suit natural conditions, and forming concentrated production areas linked to processing and product consumption. As a result, many agricultural production models applying scientific and technological advancements, producing according to safety standards, and linking along the value chain have emerged in the village, bringing high economic efficiency and improving the lives of the people. It is estimated that the average per capita income of residents in the village currently reaches approximately 87 million VND/person/year.

The village's transformation is not only evident in its infrastructure but also in the joy and enthusiasm of its residents. Witnessing the daily changes, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, a villager, said: "Seeing the village's appearance changing day by day, from wide roads and convenient transportation to fields planned as concentrated production areas, and the increasing application of science and technology in production, we farmers are much more relaxed, and productivity and value are higher. Not only that, the village's cultural center has been upgraded, meeting the needs of the people."

The material and spiritual lives of the people here are improving day by day. This is the "sweet fruit" of the collective efforts, unity, and solidarity of the people and the village's Front Committee in building a livable rural area.
