According to the report of the Lao Cai Provincial Election Council, this election in 4 constituencies will elect 10 National Assembly representatives, 61 provincial People's Council representatives, and 2,105 commune People's Council representatives. There are 16 constituencies for People's Councils at all levels, with 2,029 polling stations in 2,906 villages and neighborhoods, with over 1.186 million voters participating. Election day is not only a moment to choose outstanding representatives but also an opportunity to strongly demonstrate the character, will, and faith of the people of Lao Cai province in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

With strong political determination, close leadership from the provincial to the grassroots level, harmonious coordination and responsibility of the entire political system, thorough, serious and lawful preparation, along with a spirit of serving the people and the consensus of voters, by 7 PM on the same day, 1,185,726 out of 1,185,763 voters had cast their ballots, reaching 99.997% of the target, nearly 100% of the total number of voters, placing it among the top in the country.
