The highlight of the festival is the spectacular art program "Legend of Ban Vuong - Dream of the Sun," consisting of three parts: The Legend of Ban Vuong - Awakening the Mountains and Forests; The Melodies of the Mountains and Forests; and The Dao People's Gratitude to the Party.
Through folk dances and songs blended with the vibrant colors of traditional costumes, the program vividly recreated the legend of the Dao people's ancestors, taking viewers back in time to fully experience the journey of pioneering the mountains and establishing villages by generations of forefathers.

Within the framework of the festival, the spiritual rituals of the Dao people were revived, such as: the ceremony of paying homage to Ban Vuong, the sea voyage of the 12 Dao clans to find new lands, and the Fire Dance ritual. Along with these were a series of cultural experiences reflecting the life of the people, such as cooking competitions, folk games, flute playing, displays of labor tools, introductions to traditional Dao wedding rituals, and community cultural exchanges.
Visitors to Ba Chẽ during this time can also explore famous historical sites such as Ông Temple - Bà Temple, ancient pottery kilns, enjoy local cuisine , and shop for OCOP products... all creating a rich cultural tourism picture, spreading the image of a beautiful land with friendly and hospitable people; providing impetus for Ba Chẽ to become a shining example of cultural tourism.

The Ban Vuong Festival in 2025 continues to be a practical activity to concretize the directives and resolutions of the Central Government and Quang Ninh province on preserving and promoting the value of ethnic culture, unleashing endogenous resources for rapid and sustainable development; contributing to realizing the goal of making Quang Ninh a centrally-governed city before 2030. This is also an important occasion for Ba Che commune to honor the cultural identity of the Dao people, creating a unique and attractive impression for tourists, and promoting the development of community-based cultural tourism .

Currently, the Dao people make up over 50% of the population of Ba Chẽ commune, mainly belonging to the Thanh Y and Thanh Phan Dao groups. Through the ups and downs of time, the Dao people here have preserved their distinctive traditional cultural values: from rice cultivation and fishing to language, clothing, architecture, and cuisine; religious rituals and cultural and artistic activities such as the coming-of-age ceremony, fire dancing, village worship, and the Mid-Autumn Festival... All of these blend together to form a rich and humane cultural treasure, reminding them of their origins and nurturing the aspirations of the Dao people to strive for progress, contributing to the increasingly strong development of Ba Chẽ.
