International Doll Festival in Ho Chi Minh City

Doll Fest 2025 – the International Doll Festival – is scheduled to take place over six days, from October 29th to November 3rd, at The Global City (Ho Chi Minh City). The program includes a doll exhibition, cosplay, and talk shows. The 4th annual Doll Show concert will be held on the evening of November 2nd, with musician Vo Hoai Phuc serving as the music director.

Designer Phuong Ho, head of the organizing committee, said that the idea for the International Doll Festival had been brewing in her mind since 2021. "After three seasons of the Doll Show, I dreamed a bigger dream with Doll Fest. No matter the age, a childlike spirit always resides in our minds. I've cherished interesting stories about such a world and wanted to portray it in a series of one thousand and one interesting things about dolls," Phuong Ho shared.

The organizers revealed they will be launching a collection of fairytale dolls based on cultural stories.

According to the organizers, the highlight of Doll Fest 2025 is the large-scale doll exhibition with 150 booths showcasing various types of dolls in terms of materials, sizes, colors, etc., with participation from international brands.

Within the framework of the festival, the Miss Doll contest is also a noteworthy event. This is a platform for dolls modeled after beauty queens to compete, celebrating artistry and craftsmanship. There are two categories: semi-professional and professional. Another equally attractive competition is the Doll Cosplay contest, which is expected to set a record for the largest number of doll cosplayers in Vietnam on Halloween.
