The Provincial Khmer Art Troupe organized 15 performances to serve political purposes and local events in various locations throughout the province, especially in areas with large Khmer populations. These programs contribute to the preservation and promotion of traditional art forms, meeting the cultural needs of the Khmer people.

The center distributed propaganda materials to 102 communes, wards, special zones, and agencies and departments in the province regarding activities celebrating the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse), the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and other major national holidays. Propaganda work regarding the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and representatives to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term was carried out through various forms such as visual displays, photo exhibitions, and mobile film screenings. Mr. Nguyen Van Dong shared: “The effective implementation of cultural and artistic activities contributes to building cultural life at the grassroots level. At the same time, it promptly disseminates the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, as well as political, economic , and social events to the general public.”

Besides serving local political tasks, the Provincial Cultural and Arts Center actively participates in arts competitions and performances both within and outside the province. The programs are meticulously prepared and creative, serving both political objectives and contributing to promoting the image, culture, and art of the province. At the 2026 National Mobile Propaganda Festival, the Provincial Amateur Arts Troupe won 4 awards for performances and 2 individual commendations. These included 2 A prizes for the medley "What Could Be More Beautiful - Vietnam Proudly Moving Towards the Future" and "Singing to Celebrate the National Festival"; and 2 B prizes for the solo performance "Wind Blowing in All Directions" and the independent dance "The Source of Unity".

The 2026 National Mobile Propaganda Festival will feature over 1,000 performers and propagandists from 27 mobile propaganda troupes across the country. This is a widespread political activity aimed at bringing the resolutions of the 14th National Congress of the Party into practice as soon as possible, while also creating a vibrant atmosphere of emulation among cadres, Party members, and the people. Choreographer Du Hoai Phuc shared: “Through the performances at the festival, the provincial folk art troupe has the opportunity to promote the image of our homeland, its people, and introduce the unique cultural values of An Giang to friends nationwide. After the festival, the troupe will continue to perform these acts to serve the people in the province.”

In the coming period, the Provincial Cultural and Arts Center will continue to innovate and improve the quality of its performance activities; and effectively utilize cultural institutions. The Center will diversify its forms of propaganda, promotion, and exhibitions. At the same time, it will strengthen the organization of art performances, film screenings, and mobile exhibitions on major holidays and important political events of the province and the country. These activities not only meet the increasingly high demand for cultural enjoyment from the people but also make a significant contribution to building cultural life at the grassroots level, creating momentum to promote the socio-economic development of the province.
