
The Thu Bon Goddess Festival is a cultural and spiritual ritual deeply rooted in the folk beliefs of the people living along the Thu Bon River.
This traditional festival expresses the aspiration for prosperity, praying for a bountiful harvest, favorable weather, and national peace and security. The festival takes place over two days, March 20th and 21st, at the Lady's Mausoleum in Duy Tan commune (Duy Xuyen district) and the Lady's Shrine in Trung Phuoc town (Nong Son district).

The ceremonial part includes the arrangement ceremony, the procession of the sacred decree, the procession of water, the grand sacrifice ceremony, and the ceremony of returning the sacred decree. The festive part includes volleyball, boat racing, traditional folk singing, a women's domestic skills competition, volleyball, village chess, etc.

Along with local authorities, a large number of people from both localities attended the festival.
