Speaking at the event, the health sector leader affirmed that, entering a new era of development, an era of national progress, we are facing tremendous opportunities but also numerous challenges in healthcare. Changing disease patterns, the increase in non-communicable diseases, the aging population, and the risks from emerging epidemics demand a true revolution in thinking and action. No matter how modern the healthcare system is, no matter how great the efforts of doctors and medical staff, it cannot replace the self-awareness of each individual in protecting their own health. Health is not something that can be bought entirely with money or medicine, but is built from the smallest daily habits.

Speaking at the rally, Comrade Tong Thanh Hai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: Health is the most precious asset of each individual and the entire society. To build a healthy community, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee called on every citizen to proactively take care of their own health and that of their family; adopt a scientific lifestyle, eat rationally, increase physical activity, limit the use of alcohol and tobacco; participate in regular health check-ups and receive full vaccinations; maintain a green, clean, and beautiful living environment; and actively participate in sports activities and movements to improve community health. For all levels, sectors, and localities, it is necessary to continue to promote health education and awareness ; improve the quality of medical services, especially at the grassroots level; and proactively prevent and control diseases. Prioritize investing resources in public health care, ensuring that all citizens have convenient, equitable, and effective access to essential medical services.

Leaders of the Provincial Center for Disease Control responded to the call to action at the rally, pledging to resolutely implement effective disease prevention and control measures, and to spread the message "Proactive disease prevention - for a healthy Vietnam" in the community.
Immediately after the rally, 100 officials and employees from the Health sector and armed forces participated in a street parade to promote and support the National Health Day on April 7, 2026.
