"Workers' Dance" Festival

On July 18th, the Provincial Labor Union organized the second "Workers', Public Employees', and Laborers' Dance Festival" of Phu Tho province in 2024, to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024).

The Festival Organizing Committee presented commemorative flags to the participating teams.

The festival was attended by 18 teams with over 500 performers, including officials, workers, and employees from grassroots trade unions directly managed by the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Trade Union of the State Bank of Vietnam, Phu Tho Provincial Branch, and representatives of grassroots trade unions of banks in the province.

The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the team from the Provincial Civil Servants' Union.

Each participating team presented one folk dance or modern dance performance. The competing teams brought many unique and elaborately staged artistic and dance performances with content praising the glorious Party, the beloved President Ho Chi Minh, the homeland and country; praising the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union; and the traditions and achievements of the locality, industry, agency, unit, and enterprise.

The festival serves as a healthy and beneficial platform for every official, union member, and worker; creating opportunities for workers to showcase their talents and foster a spirit of enthusiasm in labor, learning, and work. Through this, it contributes to the successful achievement of targets and tasks of the locality, industry, agency, unit, and enterprise, as well as the targets, objectives, tasks, and solutions set forth in the Resolutions of the Trade Union Congress at all levels.

The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the team from the Provincial Civil Servants' Union, and also awarded 3 second prizes, 6 third prizes, and 8 consolation prizes to the participating teams.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded a prize to the team that best presented the music, choreography, and staging reflecting the working class and trade union organization, which went to the Trade Union of Industrial Zones in the province.
