Early April 2025, The Quang Ninh Hotel and Travel Association (Provincial Tourism Association) organized a seminar on “Solutions to connect hotel and travel services in Quang Ninh” to discuss solutions for connecting and cooperating in business to attract tourists and promote the close connection of links in the tourism supply chain. The units shared solutions for connecting and cooperating in business such as: Market trends, tourist needs; room demand at travel agencies’ accommodation facilities; advantages and difficulties in the connection process, etc. The units have jointly built and agreed on food and accommodation service packages; keeping prices reasonable while still ensuring the best service quality for tourists. Members of the Hotel Association will proactively focus on diversifying service products and investing in infrastructure. Members of the Travel Association will seek out sources of guests, build tours connecting to accommodation facilities. Along with that, member units of the two associations will have their own pricing policies, preferential treatment for each other, as well as prioritize the use of services of affiliated units.
Mr. Le Viet Ha, Director of Luxury Tours, said: In recent years, many new tourist destinations have emerged in the Northern region, increasing competition in the region. The connection between travel agencies and hotels in particular and between departments of the tourism industry in general is a suitable solution, creating close links, strongly stimulating tourism demand for the locality. From these connections, a sustainable tourism market will be created. One of the Company's requirements for accommodation units is to provide good service quality at affordable prices. In addition, increasing the experience for tourists, creating new products, and maximizing the hotel's infrastructure so that tourists have the best experience. Travel agencies also proactively bring and introduce guests to hotels, and at the same time use the service packages that the hotels have available.
For sustainable and long-term connections, accommodation units are also proactive in developing services, keeping up with the digital transformation trend. Ms. Tran Thi Lieu, Deputy General Director of Hoang Gia Ha Long Hotel, shared: To improve service quality, I really hope that units will quickly catch up with the digital transformation trend, constantly improve the quality of human resources, directly train officers and employees to participate in digital transformation operations at the unit. At the same time, strongly and regularly promote and advertise on mass media and social networks about service quality, regularly update stimulus policies and special programs for people and tourists to know.
In the current context, linkage is considered one of the important orientations to restore, develop tourism and effectively implement Resolution No. 82/NQ-CP of the Government on the main tasks and solutions to accelerate recovery and accelerate effective and sustainable tourism development. Following that orientation, Quang Ninh province has linked and expanded tourism development cooperation with provinces and cities such as: Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Ha Nam, Bac Ninh, Vinh Phuc and southern localities such as Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho.
In the 2024-2025 period, Quang Ninh and 7 northeastern provinces have also strengthened coordination with Ho Chi Minh City to provide and exchange information on planning, long-term plans, and tourism activities. Based on the development potential of each locality, the joint group has selected new typical tourism products to introduce to tourism businesses for exploitation and introduction to domestic and foreign tourists; connecting businesses between provinces and cities to conduct surveys and build tours and tourism routes.

Not only introducing to travel agencies traditional tourism products as well as tourism products and destinations that Quang Ninh province has just put into operation in Bai Tu Long Bay; connecting the chain of destinations connecting the World Natural Heritage of Ha Long Bay with Yen Tu after being recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage; border tourism..., At these direct tourism promotion sessions, it is also an opportunity for the Quang Ninh tourism industry to listen to opinions and suggestions from travel agencies in communicating to tourists, building tours suitable to trends; coordinating to promote tourism images through films; promoting tourism through sports, music, festivals, cultural events...
Mr. Nguyen The Hue, Chairman of Quang Ninh Tourism Association, said: The Association in particular and the tourism industry in general are always proactive in linking tourism with ministries, branches, businesses, as well as with localities across the country. In particular, tourism promotion and advertising work has been carried out very early. Many survey and connection delegations have come to localities in the province to learn about tourism products, service quality, and prices. The Association has also proactively connected tourist spots and areas, built a network of connections between units providing transportation, accommodation, and restaurants to reduce costs and prices; built promotional programs to offer products to attract visitors; introduced new tourism products of Quang Ninh, encouraged businesses in the province to have stimulus programs, appropriate discounts for large groups, combined with many attractive and classy service packages to attract tourists.
