Jesse Lingard is enjoying his new life in South Korea, having played for FC Seoul for over a year now.

In an interview with GQ Korea , the former Manchester United star surprised everyone with his drastically different look, influenced by South Korean fashion . No one would recognize the Lingard he was during his Premier League days.

The English midfielder now looks like a K-Pop star. Also in the aforementioned interview, Lingard admitted he has begun to adapt to life in South Korea. “I’m starting to enjoy everything in South Korea,” the Seoul FC star said.

He also shared about his eating habits: "The grilled chicken and meat dishes here are delicious. We usually order Gongbao chicken or K-Dot Barbecue chicken; I really enjoy these dishes."

Lingard's career seemed to have hit a dead end after unsuccessful spells at Manchester United and Nottingham Forest. However, last year, the English midfielder unexpectedly moved to FC Seoul in the K1 League and is now living happily.

After a difficult start to the 2024 season, the 32-year-old gradually regained his form and became an important player for the capital city team. In the early stages of the 2025 season, Lingard has scored 4 goals and is working hard to help FC Seoul compete at the top.
