It is likely that the iPhone 16 Pro will not be equipped with solid-state keys. |
The iPhone 15 Pro was initially supposed to be the first product to feature solid-state buttons, but Apple faced “technical issues that could not be resolved before mass production.”
That forced the tech giant to return to using mechanical buttons on the iPhone 15 Pro. Jeff Pu also added that Apple will not be able to fix this problem in the short term, so equipping solid-state buttons on the iPhone 16 Pro is impossible.
Previously, analyst Ross Young from Display Supply Chain Consultants also revealed that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max duo will have their screen sizes increased to 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches respectively.
In addition, some leaked sources said that the size of the iPhone 16 Pro Max will not be much different in width compared to its predecessor. Instead, the product will be designed to be longer to create a comfortable feeling when holding.
According to MacRumors , the rear camera system equipped on the iPhone 16 series will be arranged vertically, similar to the iPhone 12 generation. This change will apply to both iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus versions.
The iPhone 16 product line is expected to still include two standard and Pro product lines. The iPhone 16 Pro will be equipped with the A18 Bionic processor, manufactured based on TSMC's 3nm process. The standard iPhone 16 version will use the A17 Bionic chip, manufactured based on TSMC's N3B process.
