Projects such as the An Phu interchange, Ring Road 3, Terminal 3, and the Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa connecting road are all entering an accelerated construction phase to be completed in 2025.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, in 2025, a series of transportation infrastructure projects in the city will enter an accelerated phase to complete, put into operation, and promote the disbursement of public investment. To date, the progress of some key projects is quite good, and they are expected to be completed in 2025.

Specifically, the Metro Line 2 project (Ben Thanh - Tham Luong) has completed the land compensation and clearance procedures, with 99.8% of the land cleared.
Currently, the relocation of technical infrastructure at 12 station locations has progressed to over 30%, which is behind schedule.
The reasons include the project being constructed in a cramped site; dealing with intersections with existing underground structures outside the design; cases where households have parts of their properties within the project boundaries; and a lack of coordination and cooperation among units during the construction process.
However, the entire technical infrastructure is guaranteed to be completed by Q3/2025 to allow for the commencement of the project in December 2025.

For the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project, the project is entering its peak construction phase, accelerating progress and ensuring the quality of construction for all contract packages.
Currently, in Thu Duc City, the construction volume of package XL1 has reached over 30%, with the traffic connecting Nhon Trach Bridge ( Dong Nai province) to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway being approximately 70% complete; packages XL2 and XL3 are being implemented with multiple construction fronts, progressing on schedule; the parallel road is expected to open to traffic on June 30th, and the elevated bridge section by the end of 2025.
The construction projects in Cu Chi, Hoc Mon, and Binh Chanh districts are also progressing on schedule, ensuring technical traffic opening by April 30, 2026.
It is expected that by April 30th, the Ring Road 3 project passing through Ho Chi Minh City will complete the connection between Nhon Trach Bridge and the interchange between Package 1 and the Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway.
The goal is that by the end of 2025, the project will have the first closed loop section of Ring Road 3 open to traffic, connecting Dong Nai province via Nhon Trach bridge to Tan Van interchange.

At the An Phu interchange project, progress has reached over 60% of the total volume. The project has completed most of the important items such as the Ba Dat bridge, the Giong Ong To 2 bridge, and other components, striving for completion in 2025.
At the gateway to Tan Son Nhat Airport, the Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa connecting road project has reached over 90% completion. The project has opened to traffic at two points: the Phan Thuc Duyet underpass and the section connecting Thang Long - 18E - Cong Hoa roads.
The remaining sections of 18E - C12 and the expansion of Hoang Hoa Tham Street are underway. The Hoang Hoa Tham Street expansion package is nearly 80% complete due to land clearance issues in Tan Binh District. The entire project is expected to be completed by April 30th.
Specifically, the construction project for Terminal 3 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport has reached nearly 90% completion. Major components such as elevated walkways, elevator systems, escalators, jet bridges, baggage conveyors, and X-ray screening equipment are being expedited.
The project is expected to be completed three months ahead of schedule, ready for the station to be put into operation and exploited by April 30th.
